Suggestions for a family holiday in Spain ?

Im wanting to book a holiday to Spain in June for me, hubby and child who will be 22 mths. Went to Salou last year which was excellent. Can anyone recommend a resort similar to Salou In Spain (only want a short flight). Ive seen good deals for Lloret de mar, has anyone been? Im wanting somewhere that is not too quiet and has something like a waterpark etc for my son.

Went last year lloret is very lively, fanals next door is more family friendly.

Lloret and fanals are similar to salou (beach is better in salou though) there is Water world there in lloret and also Marineland is close by (there is a free buss that takes you there) which is a theme park and water park in one! As lloret's been catering for the UK market for years - you won't be short of things to do or see - we went in October (we stayed all-inclusive) and had a ball with 3 kids aged 5 & 9 (the 5 years olds are twins)

we go to lloret quite a bit, we have a 3 year old and an 18 month old, i can recommend the costa encantada hotel they are about a 10 min walk from the main stip with the bars etc which makes it a quieter place to stay and usually not any noise at night for the wee ones trying to sleep. it has kids club childrens pool,large outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool, supermarket next door as well as a few good places to eat accross the road theres a playground at the hotel and a large one nearby. apartments have a full size fridge freezer which is great for ice creams etc also an oven as well as hob and microwave and kettle. they also have cbeebies for the kids, laundry room etc.
we also stayed at the h-top royal beach which was great - clean, good food, plenty of choice and loads that my son and daughter would eat (they can be quite fussy) it's a bit fiurther to walk to lloret strip but iit is closer to fenals. as already said theres a waterworld and marine land which is an animal and water park combined and cheaper than waterworld you catch the free bus from the bus station, theres a weekly market on a tues behing the casino royal hotel. you can take the bus to blanes train station from the bus station and the train to barcelona which is free for the kids (not sure what the max age is for the free ticket) theres the zoo at barcelona it is an excellent zoo but its a long day for the wee ones as the zoo is quite a long walk round. theres the ramblas and the fruit market just off the ramblas too which is well worth a visit.
lloret its self has a shingle beach _its not sand and shelves quite steeply into the water so not ideal for the kids. theres a carousel in the square and the lady that runs it is very friendly. on colder days (not usually in june tho) if you are stuck theres a soft play in burger king.
sorry i've waffled a bit - we were 6 times last year with ryanair cheepie flights but faro flights were cheaper for our holiday in march so we're off to portugal for a change, try trip advisor for good reviews
