update csa going to court on 12th jan for ex to pay he has started to pay £10 per week for both children to pay off the backpay his has nil assessment to pay for his current situation. I thought even on benfots he was suppose to pay minimum £5? csa informed me 3 weeks ago even with im paying £10 they wanted more to pay off arrears quicker. Now they inform me that they are still going to court but are now accepting £10 a week over 2 years. wish this was sorted doing me head in
If he's on benefits will he not be paying the £5 which his assesment will be and the other £5 towards the arrears ?0 -
Thankyou for replying
he is on benefits and his assessment definetly states nil assessment but he offered to pay £5 to pay off the arrears of £1000 but they wanted more so he now pays £10 per week but that is solely for the arrears as it states on letter.0 -
AFAIK £5pw only applies to non-income related benefits, so if he is getting any form of IS then his assessment will be nil.0
