legal enforcement team

Hi there
i havent posted in this section before just wanted to know if you nice people could enlighten me further.
To cut a long story short moved to a different town from my ex that i had alot of hassle from we have 2 children aged 12 and 10 he was on benefits and for the past 12 year i have nil contrilbution from him. He is now working and the csa sent letters to him to request information he has refused to send the information stating they have to find the information for themselves, he has had warning letters and also his boss so we thought also refused to give information. We have later found out that he is the manager and this is why he refusing to give pay details. the case has now been passed to the legal enforcement team what does this mean?

It is a crimnal offence to fail to provide information to the CSA when required to do so, and to knowingly provide false information so they may be preparing the case for prosecution of both he and his employer as BOTH are required to provide the information.

    Thankyou for replying.
Just another question if i have had the csa case open for 12 years now and my ex has never paid a penny for both our children as my ex has always been assessed as nil payment every year i would receive a letter it would state nil payment as he was claiming benefits. He never informed the csa he started work and not sure when he started working would the claim be backdated from the time he started work as he didnt inform them or from the time i informed them he was working.

Just remember unless he has a genuine reason for having the assessment reduced the money is still racking up as arrears. I know that is little comfort but by delaying he is only causing himself later problems.

update csa going to court on 12th jan for ex to pay he has started to pay £10 per week for both children to pay off the backpay his has nil assessment to pay for his current situation. I thought even on benfots he was suppose to pay minimum £5? csa informed me 3 weeks ago even with im paying £10 they wanted more to pay off arrears quicker. Now they inform me that they are still going to court but are now accepting £10 a week over 2 years. wish this was sorted doing me head in
