If your parking was fine you have nothing to worry about.0

i looked on the terms of the blue badge and say cant park in residents parking bay unless local orthority has agreed. my mother being a single mom did not want to appeal as there is no way she could afford £70 and didnt want the stress of it all. after all the car is for use for my bro to do things and due to his condition would not be able to go on public transport
She sent the cheque yesterday and this morning i recieved the following email
Quote:
Further to your recent e.mail regarding the parking of your vehicle on witton Lane on match days.
I have had it confirmed that Witton Lane is not actually within the Aston Villa Residents Scheme ( although it may once have been ) so you are perfectly entitled to park on that road displaying your blue badge. Bear in mind however that if you park on yellow lines you are only able to park for a maximum of three hours just as you are on any other street that has double yellow lines.
i sent an email with a image from google maps stating the exact place i parked so its no doubt they have the correct road. so now what happens, i know martin says dont pay if you want to challenge but didnt want to risk it getting more costly. I have replied to the email stating that it was sent yesterday and the reasons for paying. Is there any chance we will get the money back?0 -
OP, why did you bother asking for advice if you've just ignored what you've been told, and have now paid it?0
