I haven't been but have heard great things about it. Just one thing - it used to be a cash only establishment - no credit or debit cards accepted - so check whether this is still the case before you go. Oh, and have a good time too. :beer:

The Sun Kee has been going for a long time and had a great reputation in it's old premises across the road, I doubt whether too much has changed and it should still be grand

You're better off! Sun Kee has gone down the toilet since their chef left to go to Macau on the Ormeau Road. I wouldn't go there again if you paid me, their food is awful.

Try Macau instead, best Chinese in Belfast imho. Or Gaze, it's further up near the Errigle. Or Drennan's, right beside Villa Italia. All BYO and absolutely lovely. HTH!

thanks! just looked at drennans eek at the menu prices...we very poor at the minute will give macau a ring otnight. what are ther prices like?

Macau would be cheaper - but Drennan's do an early bird menu for about £13 per head (IIRC) if you're there before 7pm.

I have to agree on the recommendation for Macau. I ate there a couple of weeks ago. It was really gorgeous, one of the best chinese meals I've had. We went for a birthday and it was very cheap cos of the byob. :j

I have to agree - I just love Macau - their banquet is brilliant if there is a crowd going.
The service is always excellent.
