I have just put the telephone down on the Customer Service Centre (somewhere in Asia) after having been told that yesterdays event in the High Court didn't take place!!!
I called after having been made aware that although there is a hold on repayments, where a hardship case can be proven (!?), then the hold shouldn't apply.
I definitely fall into the 'hardship' category, but according to Customer Services there are no provisions in place for such cases.....
I wonder if there are others that saw GMTV today and decided to try and 'help themselves', only to be met with a virtual blank stare!!!!

Most Bank Customer Services are likely to only know the bare minimum about reclaming charges.
If you wish to be considered for a hardship claim, you need to write and let them know. Please see the relevant section in Martin's guide:
