  • They already have some £19 rooms available - I booked yesterday a room on 11th August in Bristol as have a silly flight departure time so easier for me to be close to airport
  • which is the best travelodge for London for sightseeing? I was thinking about Euston, is this in an okay area for going out to eat I read somewhere it wasn't far from west end and camden market - within walking distance?

Depends how far you want to walk - we have stayed at Euston travelodge recently and walked to both Camden Market and the West End - say about half an hour max to West End ( we are walkers though & didn't use the tube at all, went by foot and saw much more that way - we went even further afield than that using Euston as our base & it was fine fo rus, coming back after theatre at night was OK too, it's a main road all the way up & felt safe enough). The travelodge itself is pretty new & everything v clean, would definitely recommend it ( also if you don't want to eat breakfast there there's an M&S Simply Food outlet in Euston station just across the road which is open early till late). There are places to eat in St Pancras station ( Carluccios I remember as well as snacky places) which is very close, but I think something like the Covent Garden travelodge would be more central in general though & probably more choice of restaurants closer at hand but there's mothing wrong with Euston if you don't mind a bit of a walk.

Id posted this in the travel section - they sometimes start these sales early, brilliant offers I had a £19 room in the Covent garden one in Feb half term, its 5 mins from Tott court road or Holborn tubes.

I really need a room on 4th April so I can go to friends 30th in London:D hope I manage to get a room, will pay up to £29.

The site normally crashes during these sales but ive managed before to get rooms at £9 and £19 later in the day.

Got £9 rooms booked for 2 vegan festivals later in the year in Bristol and London such good bargins!

    Good luck everyone!

Can anyone tell me how these £19 rooms work please?

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under 5) Are the £19 rooms double only? meaning we would need 2 rooms to fit everyone in?. Do travelodge do family rooms?

yes they do family rooms. (not sure if its every travelodge but certainley the majority)

    2 adult + up to 2 children.

think its a double bed and a double sofa bed, but perfectly comfortable. thay will also put a cot in the room if you need one. just ring the hotel direct after youve made the booking.
