    Hi Alfie

If they mentioned the finanical ombudsman service (FOS) its time to move on to these.

Sorry you had this response from them but its their word against yours sort of thing and the FOS will take a look at both sides here, only to ask did you request a SAR from these hun?;)

    Alfie

Here on this link below you can download the FOS complaints form or you can ring them to request one through the post:
    http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumer/complaints.htm

When you have completed the form, try to get a few photo-copied, send the one to the FOS and enclose a copy of the final response, also send a copy to the finance company, tell them you have now moved your complaint on to the Financial ombudsman service and enclose a copy of the complaint form for their records and interest, sometime they can change their minds, if this is the case while your complaint is within the FOS then let the FOS know, good luck.

Please remind me when did you take finance out with these, what year?;)

    Hi Alfie not a problem.

An SAR may give you more info in how this was sold to you, its entirely up to you if you want to request this, some of my SAR's helped then others did not.

If you need any more help, let us know and fingers crossed.;)

    hi di

n r sent the loan agreement and the policy document with there response today but i can not find anywhere on these documents where it says the ppi was optional ..

not even in the box, where it says sign for the insurance ,, i just think if i applied for this loan online and ticked the box for ppi ..the optional nature of the ppi was never mentioned again .

    i think this is wrong

    what do you think di...

Hi Alfie, give me a few mins and I am going to send you a private message.

There maybe something up in that and I may know the person who can check this over for you if required.

Keep a check on your PM box, cheers. X;)
