Humax PVR-9150T Freeview Box with Hard Drive

Options
Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help please? We recently bought a Humax PVR-9150T Freeview box with Hard Drive for a relative which we are trying to set up for her. It will record and play back fine but will only record up to 9 programs. How can we increase this? Do you have to select HDD control and format the HDD to increase the memory? What are we doing wrong? The handbook is not very clear and we cannot work it out from that. Any help would be gratefully received.

Many thanks.

Do you mean you can only programme it to record 9 programmes at any one time?

You can store up to 100 hours on the 9150T. Details and up-to-date user manual here: http://www.humaxdigital.com/global/products/product_stb_terrestrial_pvr9150t.asp

There is a software update available for that model here: http://www.humaxdigital.com/global/support/OAD_SoftwareUpdate_9300T_9150T.asp
  • Hi Isofar,

thanks for your reply.... what I meant is that when the machine records a 10th programme, it wipes another one off, so is only storing 9 programmes at a time.... any ideas?

Do we need to download the new software, it is a brand new machine?

    Thanks,

You can check the free space of the hard disk drive easily.

    1. Press the MENU button.

    2. Select Record using the up/down button and press the OK button.

    3. Select HDD Control using the up/down button and press the OK button.

    4. You can check the free, used, reserved and total space of the HDD.

How much free space do you have?

Hi Espresso, thanks for your reply - we have checked this and there is 88.3% free but when it records a 10th program it deletes another one in it's place. Any idea why?
