Problems with new bath....

Options
I bought a 3 piece bathroom suite from Argos last May, it was sat in my garage until I had it fitted a couple of months ago by a professional..... I took my first couple of baths and the enamal is coming off, infact it is now peeling off quite badly. Where do I standy? If they could repair this then fine, but what if it needs replacing - would they expect me to do this at my own expense, or should they pay for the new installiation? ..... I have got the receipt!!!

Have you spoken to them yet?

If the enamal bath is peeling after just a couple of uses, it sounds faulty to me. Repair jobs are usually for where the enamal has been deeply scratched/chipped, or is peeling due to old age!

Take some photos and email Argos. I would be asking for a replacement, and someone to fit it, but I bet they'll offer you a repair job first!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

yep i agree they will prob try to re-enamel it but id hang out for a total refit. how long did you keep it in the garage before having it fitted, sounds like its been a faulty bath to be honest.

You have the receipt depending on how long you have had it demand a full refund (sale of goods act) .

Is deficiently the enamel peeling and not the protective plastic? Silly question but working on returns at B&Q opens you mind to all sort of foolishness even from smart people.
