Long weekend in Spain

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if there was anyone who could give me some advice?? Point me in the right direction??

I am wanting to book a long weekend to to Spain - was thinking maybe Ibiza, as it is my partners 30th birthday in April. I was thinking of maybe going the end May, start of June.

So I was wondering if there was anyone who could help with price/flights/accommodation?? So that I can get a feel of how much it may cost. So then I can get the overtime in now at work, LOL.

If anyone has better locations/ideas, I am open to any suggestions.

Personally I would look on the Easyjet/Ryanair websites and see what destinations/dates they are currently offering cheap flights for from an airport that is suitable for you. I would then search for accomodation. BUT once you have seen a suitable cheap flight dont wait more than a day or 2 before booking otherwise you may have found the prices have changed.

You also give no indication if you want beach, city, quite, noisy....

Hi, I have just book my boyfriend and I a cheap break to Spain. We fly to Reus and are staying in Salou. This wouldn't have been my first choice of break but as we are staying for 4 nights rest and relaxation this is all we want. Flights cost £120 for the two of us and 4 nights half board staying at Golden Port Salou and Spa cost £208. I think £164 isn't too bad for 4 nights in June.

We have just booked a long weekend away to Benidorm however it is in October. All Inclusive Friday - Monday for 260 per person inc 1 item of baggage booked in.

Booked it with a company called sun4udirect. Very helpful staff as well.

I booked the hotel with Thomson online as it was around £80 cheaper than booking with the hotel directly. Also check hotelopia/easyjet they had an apartments for as little as £44 for the four nights.

look at alicante itself... we had fantastic weekend there in november. good beaches, plenty of sighseeing shops etc and fantastic nightlife- doesnt get going for food til 9, bars 12 and clubs later. very reasonable too as still spanish. only 15e in taxi from airport too.

if you do fancy ibiza stay in ibiza town or santa eulalia

The week you mention might well be more pricey than the weeks either side, if you have any choice, as that's likely to be the schools' half term week.


Oh, and I like Northern Spain - weather not as reliable as the south coast, but - should be able to get a good deal outside of school holidays by ferry to either Santander or Bibao - and if you like the ferry journey as part of the holiday, there's some great deals out there..
