So any help on some kids food party ideas?
8 children aged between 3 and 6 will be coming (all girls).
Enjoy your party :j As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the existing thread to keep ideas together

depends what you want to serve iceland do some big party packs for 5.00 each (theres different varities ) also you could go to somwhere like aldis or lidls and pick up pop and squash thats cheapReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

I would do a buffet -just do some sandwiches, a few sausage rolls some crisps, cup cakes, The Birthday Cake and some jelly and 10 bottles of cheap lemonade that should do.
If you are mad enough to be thinking of goodie bags - pop into Wilkinsons or poundland they have lots of bits and bobs

Was thinking along the lines of buffet style food. Dont have access to a cooker so will need to be food that can be eaten cold.
Iceland is a fab idea but unfortunatly i do not have one near me. I have a tesco, morrisons and a lidl.
Do you think its cheaper to buy squash to dilute, or cartons. If i buy squash i will need to buy party cups too.
Thanks for your advice.0 -
Ive been given some party bags and a few plastic yoyos and whistles. will just need to put in some choc or sweets of some description, And a piece of cake.
Regarding the cake is it cheaper to make one it will need to be quite big to cut up for 30 and to have some left for family. Bearing in mind im not very sucessful when it comes to baking. or is it better to buy one.
Thanks for your ideas they are very helpful.0 -
I usually check out what is on buy one get one free. You can usualyy pick up crisps and cakes / choc bars this way. Also worth checking - I bought some cup drinks and if I remember rightly they werer about £1.99 for 15. Not sure if this would be cheaper than value lemonade and plastic cups though.0
