    Thanks. Whats the Hilton like?
the Caledonian Hilton is the one on the corner. Its a 5 star hotel, its very smart, doorman, etc..... room in there is over £130 per night and thats the cheapest room. they can go up to over £1000 per night!

no, not atall. you dress how you feel you want to dress. It IS a posh hotel, but not every person has to wear a suit and tie (for men) and a dress or that for women. Aslong as you dont go in to the hotel looking like a scruff, they wont mind. What i mean by that is hols in jeans, cloths about 10 sizes 2 big, etc... you know the type. but if you wear normal every day street clothes, they wont mind what so ever. The reason they wont allow in people dressed like scruffs is because the majority of people who dress like that are just looking for trouble. (sorry if i have offended) but honestly, you dont have to go out and spend money on new clothes just for the hotel.

As i said, along as you wear clothes lol and walk in you will be fine :)

also, bearing in mind, you are having to travel quite a distance, so wear comfy clothes :)

and FYI you dont need a passport to fly anywhere in the UK, just photographic ID ie Driving Licence.

 I didnt even know that. I havn't got a driving licence :o so i might have to take my passport anyway.

I think I'll be OK in my clothes then as I hate jeans and the scruffy look.

ull b fine then. but the most important rule to remember is to enjoy yaself and relax :)

Will say tho, on a sat night, try stay clear of Lothian Road as there are 2 clubs that there is often police involvment. Never anything serious, just drunks comin out of the club but im talking the early hours of the morning (2 - 3AM sunday morning)

If ya like quiet, sunday morning, princess st gardens, its basicly your own, not many people about....
