first... I am looking for an RSS feed for the forums. Is there one?
Second: here is an illegal spam pyramid post that needs to be deleted.

(it's the first reply)
Thanks

I've kindly created an RSS feed for the MSE forums. By default it produces a feed based on the latest posts in the "Shop don't drop" forum.
You can tweak the url to produce RSS feeds for other forums on the board too.
It doesn't consume as much bandwidth as a user coming back to the site every few minutes to check latest bargains, and also caches content.
I've just finished the code tonight. I'll give it a test and then reveal the URL here if anybody is interested.0 -

Give this a RSS feed a try:
http://buddasworld.staghosting.com/mse_bargains.php - does the 'Shop but don't drop' forum.
http://buddasworld.staghosting.com/mse_bargains.php?fid=Urgents - covers the uber bargains (I guess?)
http://buddasworld.staghosting.com/mse_bargains.php?fid=Free - gives you info on all things free.
You get the idea now (I hope) on how to customise your own RSS feed for the forums? :-)
Enjoy!0 -
Only just got round to trying the RSS feed.
works great.
(for those using IE to see what its like, click here then f11)
(RSS feed means that new bookmarks appear in the folder when new topics appear)
The only problem I can see is that you don't get all the stuff you get on the board. Like indications if new posts have been made etc - but it's great for a quick look
Now that myYahoo are taking RSS I'll need to give it another look as well0
