I'm thinking of buying a Beko CDA543F fridge freezer which is 54.5 cm wide. However, I've heard that swapping the door round so it opens right to left is a bit of a pain. This is needed because to fully open the doors, a floor space wider than the width of the freezer is required. I have a 65 cm wide gap available between the wall and kitchen cupboard. Is this likely to be enough or would I need to swap the door hinges (there is free space on the left, but a wall on the right, so I'm hoping I'll be able to open left to right without having to change the door over).
I've read a few reviews, but although this issue was raised, no one said exactly how much space you'd need to be able to open the door fully!
There, told you it was a long shot!

dont know about your fridge/freezer, but most of em are dead simple to change the doors around.
ask the retailer before you buy. you can always measure the one on display.
the gap should be the same either way/side.Get some gorm.0 -
Think about it. These fridges are not put together by rocket scientists. They are designed for it to be very easy to do on a production line. I did a Hotpoint many years ago and it was a doddle. I doubt whether you would need more than a Philips headed screwdriver.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
