offer for 6.9% balance trans. Good?

i have tried to get a 0% but have been disapproved the last 2 times so not going to bother applying for another one.

I have had an offer to move my credit card balance of £6k to my clear barclays credit card at 6.9% for the life of the balance.

Do you think this is good?

At the moment, the £6k is made of purchase and a balance transfer.

Depends on the rate you're currently paying on the 6k of debt. If it's more than 6.9%, the transfer is probably a good idea.

Check whether there are any fees for doing the transfer, although don't think Barclays charge any on their 6.9% offer.

Just done a transfer to Barclaycard myself, no fee and 6.9% for LOB. offer open until 28th Feb 2006.

Yes.
move it while the offer is there,especially while they are allowing you to have a 6K limit.
This will give you a lot of breathing space over the coming months as you can't get a 0% card.
As and when you get a 0% card you can BT some of the 6K onto it then.

No link sorry I just phoned them up and checked if the offer was still on and was told yes, so it seemed rude not to accept.
