Hey all - it was my day off today, so have only just wrestled Rugrat no 2 off the house computer and I have so much to catch up on! Happy birthday to Sparky!

Am going out tonight as it is my wedding anniversary (which I will graciously allow OH to share;) ) - oooh my niece has just arrived to babysit - THIS IS EXTREMELY RARE that we go anywhere - am ridiculously over-excited at the thought of a meal which doesn't involve panicking about whether youngest rugrat needs the toilet, discussing Man Utd's best goals with rugrat no2, or attempting to get rugrat no 1 surgically removed from the mobile.

Nice. Thats a result in my book. My BF is unfortunately (?) well-behaved so I don't get any make up presents (I suppose that's a good thing really!) But he did buy me a steak at the weekend because I really wanted steak for dinner. It was nice steak too..

You are a real tonic you should be bottled. You really make me giggle causing some really shifty looks from DH.

Sorry to say that I am not blonde but a very dark brunette ( probably grey now @ 44 ( on Tues) but nice & easy hides my secret!!) . Married into a couple of cats but unfortunately they were old moggies and are no longer . When they died my OH was so upset - He said they were with me longer than any woman ( 14 yrs at the time) . We have now been together 14 yrs so I am nearly there !!. I now have 3 little monkeys - 3 boys 8, 7, & 5.


Fingers crossed for your interview . You deserve a wonderful job . YOU WILL BE A SUCCESS. Just look at how many of us are already hooked on you.

Just been catching up on the thread, am now daydreaming about gorgeous firemen when I should be studying!

ive done this before, also checked sparkys phone, got in a huge row as he called someone 'his little sausage', turned out that at work they all call each other sausage as a pet name???!!! Weird but true.

My OH always calls me sausage as well, either that or Bambi .

Blondie, hope you and Sparky have a great time time tonight and best of luck fr your interview tomorrow.

I've started walking, with the intention of running eventually (joined the Running Club on DFW). Anyone else here who runs?

I regret to say I got the same answer off my boyfriend when I asked him! We should take it as a compliment I think, having a nice set of knashers!

Ok running late - as usual. Need to be V V quick! So will reply to all lovey messages after interview and new people on the board. (also pet names - BTW mine is 'beans'. Why i have no idea)

Right, interview is at 1pm, i have hair like a mad tramp, WHY DO I HAVE TO HAVE A BAD HAIR DAY TODAY!!!:eek:

Right, I feel confident (apart from mad hair) and will try to wow them.
