Hi Ladies, Just spent an hour reading all you things and has really brightened my day. Glad I'm not the only crazy one out here. Plodding along with sorting it all out and diary helping. Tilly- the cup calkes are amazing! Got a very poorly aged dog at moment, trying to avoid making decision to go to vet (not going to let him suffer though) but it costing a fortune cooking treats to tempt him to eat. OH and I having doggie leftovers! Nice to meet you all.Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Hi Robsmum,
Wow down from 25 to 6 cigs a day, bet you are feeling all the better for it! Poor dog, when they are a good age it's heartbreaking making the decision but sometimes it is for the best. As for doggie leftovers, shouldn't it the dog eating your leftovers, a bit of role reversal, I like it!0 -

Hiya robsmum! Welcome to the Blondie thread
Swinstie you're a genius - steamed onions on a buttered roll??! I adore fried onions (esp the smell) so I may treat myself at the weekend although friend onions/butter/bread really isn't a weight watchers combo. Bah humbug (not allowed humbugs either).
Ebs - I get the tube in the morning as Brixton is the start of the Viccy line so I always get a seat but I like to get the bus home as I just settle in and people watch or read the paper. It's great - since I started doing it I actually understand how my little corner of London links up with the rest of it. My fave bit of the journey is when it goes over Westminster bridge right underneath Big Ben and next to the Eye. Am still a tourist at heart I reckon!Sealed Pot Challenge 2009 # 650 (target £150)Long Haul Supporters # 158 debt free 2014Member of the Blondettes :beer:Debt Free Date: doesn't bear thinking about!0 -

Remember though Ruby, that onions are a vegetable so technically they are healthy! My favourite cafe sold the onions on a roll combo but sadly it shut down - haven't mastered how to steam them to perfection myself!
I love humbugs, need to visit a seaside town now...0 -

So how are you all today?? Welcome all the lovely new people, as previously said on a post before..."GET YOUR PICS OUT FOR THE GIRLS...GET YOUR PICS OUT FOR THE GIRLS..!" :rotfl:
Ive been very busy today, and i am very pleased to announce that i put on some trousers today and they are very baggy. So baggy that i could fit my hand inside the waistband (erm, not that i was doing anything with my hand down my pants!! you know what i mean..):j :j :j :j
Sparky has 'gone away' for the night. So i have the flat to myself. Yippie!!! Going to start packing for my holiday. Will pray to the packing gods that i can cram a holidays worth of clothes / makeup / hair stuff and biscuits into a pink rucksack...
The biggest dilemma will be what shoes to take. Now i need to be prepared for all eventualities. (On the last holiday i went on the Isle of Wight decided it was monsoon season and i lived in wellies and nearly got trench foot).
I havent eaten much today, so therefore am treating myself to a mini pack of jammie d's i have in the cupboard. :j
Oh i went to the easter bonnet parade - very cute. All the little ones singing some songs about chickens and eggs. No idea what they actually sung but they all looked cute. I have taken a pic of my nephew so i was going to ask can i PM it to you who wants to see? Be worried about posting a pic of him on a public place incase of any weirdos..(by weirdos i mean the people who dont like biscuits and eat *gasp* low fat food!!!)CC1 - £250 (PAID) :j
