Van is declared SORN, can i still drive it.
My van has been off road now for a couple of months or so, and has NO tax or MOT although Im still insured to drive it.
Can i book it in for an MOT at a garage in adavance and drive it to the test station and home again. Obivously i cannot tax it without there being a valid MOT certificate.

I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.

Interesting one. You can't buy tax unless it's got MOT. So I guess you can. You will have to have a pre-booked appointment though in case you are stopped.0

Yes provided you are insured you can drive it directly to and from a pre-booked MOT.

"Driving an untaxed vehicle to an MOT test
You can drive your vehicle to and from a pre-arranged test at an MOT test station provided you have adequate insurance cover in place for the use of that vehicle.
This also applies to vehicles being driven to and from a prearranged test at a Vehicle Inspection Check (VIC) test station, an approved weight testing station and reduced pollution test."
The above also applies to SORNED vehicles, although at the moment I cannot find the linkDon`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0
