Egg online banking not working?

Options
Is anyone else having trouble logging on to Egg online banking this morning? I've been trying for a couple of hours and just keep getting an error message

Can't remember the passwords of my other online banks as they're all stored on their Money Manager so never need them!

Why do you call this 'an error message'?
Unfortunately, our site is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later

Because it's saying there's a problem with their site - didn't know if it was a generic message, or for specific customers once you've tried to log in
  • I also have it. It may be due to the changes they are implenting with the new look aspect of the site, if the IT guys didnt manage it last night they sometimes take it down during the late morning, or from about 2-4pm. Having worked there it is a pain because you suddenly get a huge influx of calls, and they dont always warn the call centre staff. Its probably best if you wait until it comes back online.

Every now and again all my Money Manager accounts disappear. Not sure why, although it's usually after seeing the unavailable screen mentioned earler. Perhaps you should keep a hard copy of your log-in details incase anything happens?

Yes in theory the Egg money manager is good but I had to goto one account and access it manually like I did before.

It is great for convenience but one should know the individual manual details should the need arise, such as today.

Yes it really irritated me yesterday not being able to access Egg

yes, I had this problem yesterday, at least you can fill in the email bit on the bottom of the page, as I did, so they will send you an email when they are back online. It does make you think about leaving your transactions until the last minute when this sort of thing happens
