Best bank account for a 10 year old ?

My 10 year old son wants a bank account.Can anyone recommend a good one for a child?

depends what he wants out of an account ( cashcard ?) and how much involved#

some of the regular saving accounts - like Halifax are good rates - but restrictive

Have at look at coop bank - cash bonuses on top of interest ( may suit those with fairly low balances- but over £50)

Thanks people,We're talking very small amounts here.Just somewhere to save his pocket money and b'day present money.He's seen me shopping online,so i think he wants to do this.Do banks give children debit cards?
