Last minute holiday question

Yes, I understand that you can get those kind of deals, but people who are looking for 'last minute' deals are not normally looking to spend £900.
The normal point of last minute deals is to get something cheap (i.e. under £500 for a weeks holiday).
If the op is looking to spend £900 I'm sure there are any amount of holidays they could buy.
I was actually using Expedia as an example - NOT the price I paid - the argument I was using meant that I could find a bargain holiday on Expedia to get a good last minute price. There are many sites out there - This one being one of them that recommend using Expedia if you want to travel in the next fortnight, and no I don't work for them but in another area of the tourism industry.Noli nothis permittere te terere

I normally look around 3 or 4 weeks out, but have booked a couple of days before. Shouldn't be that much of a problem for the OP - wouldn't leave it that late if I wanted to go to a particulr resort (or even country..) or had fixed holiday dates though. This leaves the question of what people consider to be a 'last minute' deal. I have always considered it to be in the next 2 weeks, but some people think differently.
So lets throw out the question to anyone who's interested.
What timeframe would do you consider to be a 'last minute' deal?0
