Hi all
As per the title really. I switched on Friday 10 Feb 06 from npower to the scottish power capped price product. I hear since that they have now put up their prices by a substancial amount.
My question is where will we stand in so far as the capped price product do you think? Is it going to be cancelled or would the capped prices be increased to?
Many thanks for any help/input.

A capped price is what it says on the tin.
The whole idea is that you don't pay any increases untill the date specified, in my case with Scottish Power, Oct 2007.
So stop worrying, no price rises untill your end date, which I would assume is the same as mine.0 -

When you say 'switched' on Friday 10 Feb 06 do you mean applied on that date or the switch was confirmed on that date?0 -
I applied for uncapped with Scottish Power about 4 months ago. 5 days later they announced price increases. The following day, I phoned and asked if I could be put onto the capped tariff, which they did no problem.
So basically, if you applied before the increases, then you've nothing to worry about.Nice to save.0
