...how reclaiming bank charges is affected by working for the bank you're reclaiming from? Just wondered if there's any anecdotal evidence of the bank's reaction to a staff claim.
Total debt 13-Oct-10 = £31,977
Total debt today = £22,322
Difference = £9,545
Proud to be dealing with my debt.

You'll probably get it back straight away. If your quite senior in the bank they may also give you a bonus as a goodwill gesture. Then again if you are just a decent bloke who goes in and does a fair days work for a fair days pay they may well sack you.0 -

There's a few posters on here who work or have worked for some of the banks whilst reclaiming.
I won't name them, but one or two may step forward and let you know of their experiences.0 -

Not the most helpful of responses was it?
I'll asked a colleague to give the poster his views.0 -

There is nothing to stop you reclaiming charges from your account. However, if you are in financial hardship make sure you make the bank aware of this because if it is the bank I think it is then there is evidence(facebook) that you can get into trouble over it due to the Code of Conduct and financial mismanagement(commented on this aspect before on here). However, each individuals circumstances are different.
