Reclaiming PPI not wanted

Options
I purchased a sofa from DFS and got their interest free deal. After paperwork was sent through from Black Horse I noticed the repayments were more than I expected. Called them and found out that they had added PPI. They said the box was ticked on the form. I know I did not tick it as I never pay interest - this site is brill -:money: - I faxed them in april 07 and thought it was all sorted as I recieved paperwork from them saying payments were back to what I expected i.e. with out the PPI amount added.
I was checking things today and found out that they are still charging the PPI. .
I have faxed a cancellation for PPI but they say they will not back date it. It obviously is a missselling but does not really fall into any of the catogories in the tenplate
Any ideas please.

    Hi there

Well in my personal opinion you still have your own reason for complaint here, and maybe a phone call to the financial ombudsman service maybe some help to you, you can also request they send this to them on your behalf, it should take the pressure away from you a little, there is no harm in ringing to ask them.
Just explain what you have in your post, and please let us know in case you require any help, good luck X;)
