The BBC shows adverts in Australia. Clearly they're not that bloody precious about their 'unique' funding.
Duh!, that's BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC..allowed to make a profit! If you don't like the BBC, i'm sure you can watch Fox News or others in Asstralia.Founder member MSE Jet Airways Mile High Club

I remember watching Fox News recently, and they introduced a story 'Our ex-Cold War enemy, Russia, has today...' And I nearly spat my tea out! People can complain about the BBC all they like but relatively it really isn't that bad.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -

I bet Murdoch (owner of Fox News) and his clan has got plenty of wholesome programs for our expat down-under :rotfl:0 -

Well I would absolutely hate them to take the daily mails editorial line.
But I still regard them as bias with a huge lean on labour. So I don't think it's just daily mail readers that "get the bias".0 -
I dont really think bbc news is biased. I just think its incredibly dumb.
You can be sure that the bbc will never analyse anything until the census has been established by other mainstream media. And then it will be presented, relentlessly, in a simple, almost childish format, where the basic points are repeated constantly.
They were pro hpi ramping because everyone else was. Notice that they've never really managed to engage with the slump as theres not been a proper media backlash connecting it to the boom.
Andrew "No Balls" Verity's confused bit of 'offend no one' fence sitting was about the closest they got to contemplating the down side of hpi.
I just think the bbc is populated by many 2nd rate journalists trying to keep their heads down and not offend anybody until they can start drawing their pensions.0
