E: 01/03 Win tickets to see the Bootleg Beatles

Win tickets to see top Beatles tribute band "The Bootleg Beatles" at Croydon, Cheltenham, Grimsby or Stoke.
Now in their 28th year (far longer than the fabs were together!!), the Bootlegs recreate the Beatles' career with eerie authenticity, note-perfect renditions and no less than five costume and set changes that accurately depict the eras of the Beatles' evolution.
More than an ordinary tribute band, the Bootlegs have played Wembley, Glastonbury and performed before the Queen and George Harrison himself, who said: "they probably know the chords better than I do!"
Question:
According to the song, which colour was the Beatles' submarine?
Yellow:rolleyes:
Enter here: Bootlegs
Click the name of the town you want to win tickets for and then enter the answer and your phone number. I'm just miffed there's no tickets being offered for gigs anywhere near us!
Good luck all!:D

The Bootleg Beatles aren't very good, IMHO. I can think of a lot of better tribute bands out there.0

Thanks Flickering Ember.
I've not been lucky enough to see the Bootlegs live, so can't make a judgement. Heard some good reviews from some in the Beatles fan community though. I think I'm split 50/50 about going to some of these shows, cos however good the tribute band is, you know it's not really the original band you love. Still if you win the tickets at least it's a free night-out!
(Sorry to go off topic of the comp there!:o )Big thanks to Martin Lewis for helping us start to sort out our finances!!!:A

I've been a massive fan of The Beatles for 21 years now, and The Bootlegs are the worst I've seen.
The good ones include: The Blue Meanies (the UK one), The Mersey Beatles, The Beat Beatles, The Cavern Beatles, The Cavern Beat (USA), American English (USA). You need to come to Beatles Week in August!! I live in Liverpool so see Beatles tribute bands almost every day.

Well, even in they aren't too good - I haven't seen them and I'd like to find out for myself.;)0

I've seen 3-4 Beatles tribute bands(been a fan since I was 14 back in '95) and I will have to double check which one it was, but I saw one tribute band at glastonbury 2007, and they were realllly good. Might be the bootleg beatles.

Wow lucky you, I love Liverpool. I'd love to go to Beatles week. When the kids are a bit older we will. I've seen Macca play live there and done the Magical Mystery Tour round the city and been to the Cavern during the day for a visit. I'd heard the Cavern Beatles were good, and I think there's an Agentinian band I've seen on youtube who are really good too. Thanks for the tips!:DBig thanks to Martin Lewis for helping us start to sort out our finances!!!:A

I saw Paul live too at the 2004 Glastonbury. Had a wonderful time. I also won a competition and saw Ringo and his All-Star Band, either in 97 or 99, and all I can say is that man has ALOT of energy on the stage! Been to the Cavern club too.:rotfl:Jan wins-Madame Tussauds ticket, Sex Drive & Bride Wars movie, Feb-Hotel for Dogs, Young Victoria, Mar-Hush, Watchmen, Marley & Me, X-men Blueray screening, The Boat That Rocked tix Apr-Coraline tix, Incredible Hulk, 22" TV, £100 Asda voucher...
