Hi I cannot access the forums for the last 3 days - I have never had any problems before. I have tried every forum but keep getting the same error code. I think this is local to my computer because if I put my work laptop onto my broadband connection, there is no problems in accessing the sites (other than me getting the sack as we are not supposed to do this - but I had to check!!!).
This is driving me nuts as I cannot fix it (not very computer literate at the best of times. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful. I am now getting withdrawal symptoms as this is the only site I frequently use.
Please help.

Try removing the 'cookies' (Stored information relating to different sites)
Download CCLEANER (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION' ~ make sure YAHOO TOOLBAR is unticked on installation)
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
Run the top 2 scans (Backup the registry when it asks):idea:0 -
Hi
Thanks for replying to me - I tried as you suggested but it still does not work. I am back resorting to the work computer which is logging into the forums with no problems so it is doubly frustrating.
Any other suggestions before I chuck my computer out of the window...................................0 -
Try using FIREFOX in place of internet explorer
Download FIREFOX

(You will also need the other addons like FLASH etc)

Thank you - I downloaded all the things you suggested - clicked on through modzilla and bingo - it has worked - don't ask me why but I am absolutely delighted.
I thought I was going to have to buy a new computer and nearly bought one of those reg cure things from the USA to try it for $37.
I am absolutely delighted - thank you so much for taking the time to read my thread and suggest some solutions.
I can't stop grinning
