Hi,
i was given a ticket from a city council for £75.00 which reduces to £50 if paid within 14 days.
Is there any legal limit they can charge since normally its £60 down to £30 if paid.
this seems excessive.
the type of ticket was to pay a "standard Charge" for parking in a council car park with no ticket displayed. ( i forgot to get one)
any ideas?

Yes, read the stickies at the top. Then post ALL of the ticket, together with photos of any signs and road markings, so that someone can help you.0 -

AIUI under RTRA 1984 they can charge what they like for their own car parks - within reason i suppose. Maybe levels have changed recently? website always best source.0

Lucky you.
I believe Enfield is £100 at present......0 -
They wont be decriminalised and operating under the traffic management act 2004, so the ticket will be valid, unless you have a bone fida reason for contesting it.0
