BOS CC claim, England or Scotland?

hi folks, I am just about to do a claim for credit card charges on my previous Bank Of Scotland credit card.

I understand that under Scottish law I can claim back 5 years, and English is 6 years, my question is however, I took out the card in Scotland, while I lived in Scotland, since closing the card, I moved to England where I now live.

Do I put it under English law as thats where I live or do I put it under Scottish law as thats where the charges occurred, and also do I send it to the English address in Halifax, or to the Scottish one in Edinburgh?

I'd rather be able to claim back the 6 years if possible,

edit: ohh and in letters to them, do I refer to them as Halifax Bank Of Scotland or Bank Of Scotland (which they were when the card was taken out)

Thanks
