A Family room is the same but you also get a pull out sofa bed.
And they cost the same

Have you looked at pontins I booked my mum and sis to go there last year as there was a £10 deal on the grabbit board at the time.
They seem to have cheap breaks. My mum, sister, nephew aged 2 at time and niece aged 8mths at time had a great break, they said rooms were not 5 star but then didnt pay for 5 star but entertianment was great and they had self catering so cook for themselves.0 -
What about the Isle of Wight? It's lovely there with gorgeous beaches etc? Not too much of a drive (and ferry crossing) from East Sussex?

Just a thought but have you looked on ebay? We are a family of five and found a fab chalet on the beach in wales for the october half term. Just looking ourselves for the easter week (11/04). Have seen loads of caravans/chalets/cottages in Cornwall for the week prior to the one we are looking for and some are really cheap but look like good accomodation/location. Worth a look0

We have looked at Parkdean Cherry Tree in Norfolk, should not take too much longer if going from East Sussex if you go M25, M11. The park has had 5/5 in the reviews we have seen and we looked at going and it was priced at £129 for a decent caravan break. They also have Hampshire and some in Dorset so well worth a look but not sur eon those parks. 2 bedroom caravan at Parkdean from 10th to 13th for £187. you get prices on the left of the screen http://www.parkdeanholidays.co.uk/norfolk-holidays/cherry-tree/cherry-tree-holiday-park.htm
The prices do go up in the holidays I am afraid and I have noticed this so you'll be lucky to get a week but you could try looking for a Travel Inn Express as we have had many a £39 night there and with a free continental breakfast!!
If your kids have an inset day and are off on the 20th I'd look for 17th to 20th as the prices drop by quite a lot more then.

We've done Haven holidays in the past as a budget break. The sites we stayed at had pools with activities for children (learn to swim, snorkelling etc), organised football, tennis, fencing. I can't remember all the details, but we stayed in chalets full board & it was extremely good value - you need to be aware at these prices you are not going to get hotel standard rooms or food, but with all the children's activities, & not having to cook, it was just great.0
