Hi guys
We bought a new oven and hob
Now the old oven and hob were connected to this small blank plate (a cooker outlet plate i think its called) and then from there to a cooker switch unit with a plug.
Now the hob has a cable fitted to it but the oven does not and reading the manual it states a min of 4mm T&E must be used.
I know the whole cooker run to the consumer unit is 10mm as had a look.
Now reading some posts they say the cable for the oven should be the same size as the run of cable to the CU. I have some spare 6mm in the shed can i used that?
Thanks
