working out kwh on imperial ft3 meter help

hello,
can you tell me how to work out the kwh for an old gas meter please, im sure it says ft, or ft3 on it? its my parents meter.

on my metric meter i multiply the units ive used by 11 to give an estimate of the kwh ive used, is there a similar way for the older ft meter please??

2. Gas (kWh) - this is measured in units on your meter but paid for by kilowatt hour (kWh). To calculate how many kilowatt hours of gas you have used in each bill, take the number of gas units used (if you have an imperial meter, multiply the figure by 2.83), now multiply the gas units used by the calorific value (39.7) and the correction factor (1.022640), and then divide by 3.6.

If you do want the full calculation it is:

x 1.0224 (correction factor)
x 2.83 (metric convertion)
x 38-39 ish (calorific value, amout varies on season and area)
/ 3.6 to convert to kwh
