  • Hi everyone don't post often but lurk rather a lot. Picked up so many tips but mainly motivation from everyone to get the cards all paid off and stop using them for everything! But just excited as that's one card down to nil and another under £1k today yipee!! Only £60 and total debt will be under £3k I know it's not a large amount but still gets me down. Going to try and pull together £60 this month just to get over that milestone.

    xxx yipee friday tomorrow!!!

Evening all, took Buster to the vets and they agreed that we have tried everything and they have no qualms with our decision to put him to sleep. GOing to take him in tomorrow. Im gonna stay up with him tonight and be with him when he is put to sleep tomorrow; I cannot leave him to be alone with strangers when he dies; I owe him that much at least. Its truly awful playing 'god' if you like. We've had plenty of tears tonight and no doubt more to come; my voice was going in the vets. I think he knows he's sat under the table with a sad face and won't come out. :(

Does anyone know how much it costs to get a cat cremated?

Lenny, i know how you must feel. I have a cat and she is 19 yo, 20 in Aug. She is blind and has been on beta blockers and bp tablets for a couple of years. i have had her since she was a tiny kitten which fitted in the palm of my hand. She is my family (i am single). I have been gearing my self up for when it is her time to go (cos i know i'm gonna be in bits).

You love your Buster and have cared for him and given him a happy life. though is it the worst decision a pet owner has to make, you are showing how much you love him by making it, and not letting him suffer.

massive :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: to you and your family

  • it cost me about £150 and this was about 5 yrs ago. I asked my vet to arrange a separate cremation so i could have my Spice (cat) back to bury.
