    Hi all!

    Today:
    * Storecupboard lunch and dinner for OH and myself
    * popping to Tesco at lunch to use free Uncle Bens rice voucher they sent me!
    * Piggy clicks (or no clicks really!)

Am worrying about my toilet. I live in a rented flat and we're moving soon, when we moved in I dropped something down the lav and chipped the porcelain, so OH fixed it with sealant. It's been 100% fine... now am wondering if they'll notice when they do the inventory on checkout and make us pay for a new toilet... despite it working fine? Would they do that? Am wondering whether to find some sort of toilet duck thing to strategically place to cover the sealant but it's a bit low down... gah!
  • Hi
Everyone seems to have the rainy day blues today, huh glad its just not me!!
Liked the line about the white socks still sparkling, looked at my black ski socks and smiled:D. Thanks for that!

Went to farmfoods today, lots of people have said how bad it is, but you know what its like just had to check for myself:rolleyes: Found Quaker oat musili a box of 600g for 49p that cannot be bad, if it is I can just mix it with the stuff I make at home for about the same price. If they like it thats one job at the weekend I can let slide a little. And the real scoop was I found the nasty mac/cheese that the boys like so much and according to them is the only one that tastes like the stuff at home, it is full of !!!! but if I cook some salmon steaks to go with it that will balance out:A
The salmon that we are having tonight was 80p whoopsied, I bought all five that was there, I love going to our local co-op at about 8pm they just about give the food away, I have never paid more than 30p for a large bag of salad. And I have just found out that they still do a "divvy card" thought that had long gone:T:T

Last night I talked to my eldest daughter on the free yahoo messenger thing so that saves us a bomb in calls I was up till 4.30am so not exactly full of the joys today. But it is ssssooooo worth it:D:D

Sorry this is so long, and not just a nice neat list, I need help staying on track lately and writing it all down on here kinda helps me to remember that all the small stuff WILL pay for the trip to see my daughter in December (only another couple of grand to go:o)

And I really do love reading what other people are up to, you guys always give me a smile or a chuckle.

    Thank You.

    Hey Tallie

she is doing really well. Got our longest walk so far at lunchtime today. Almost got as far as the woods. (should be a 10 min walk to that bit but took us 20). We met lots of other dogs today which was brilliant for her.

however, on way back to car, went passed students (inc my current crush - see daily chat today) and he said I had a vermin problem!!!! Cheek LOL. Just cause he has a big bounding dalmation and not rat on a lead.

Toilet training going well. Does it outside on every walk but still needs her papers down in the house too. Still find 'a present' in her crate most mornings but I think its cause I am still allowing her to eat past tea time. Will reduce that over the next week or so. However, car is clean and dry every day this week which is great news.

Must post some more cute pics soon.

Thanks for your help with the scratchcards. I shall have a look at that thread Pipsmum. :)
    • Take lunch to work
    • Have a NSD.
    • A collegue very kindly bought me a drink so a freebie! ;)
    • Check online banking
    • Have a look at the free scratchcards.
    • Posted of something for Ebay.
  • Hi All,

Having a right cow bag of a day - but won't bore you with the details!

The Non- MSE things today are:
    • Applied for replacement drivers licence, had to send recorded delivery and enclose a special delivery envelope - more money!
    • Buy new car insurance - YIKES - paid in one lump sum on credit card
    • Pay for saddler visit
So I have paid out a fair bit today, which is not brilliant, but oh well, I gotta pay my bills.

Am putting off renewing my passport (need to change into my married name) as its £60 and its nowhere near its expiry date...... Bah Humbug.

The very good, classroom pet, MSE things I have done/will do:
    • Didnt have to put photo in with drivers licence, so saved money there
    • Bought car insurance through TopCashback (£28 back to me!) and put on mycredit card because the APR was cheaper than the Direct Debit APR - 24%!!
    • Cancelled renewal of insurance by existing insurer - they didnt even try to keep me - so sod them! Will take my custom elsewhere.
    • Called Saddlers and queried amount, and I was right, so they took £20 off!
    • HM breakfast
    • Packed lunch from home
    • HM dinner
    • Squash at work, no fizz out the vending machine
    • Free tea and coffee at work
    • Read papers online - FREE!
    • Walk dog
    • Ride the horse - car share on journey there hopefully
    • Daily clicks
    • Got some LV through the post - will use that for a chum's bday as can use those in Boots! So with my Advantage card that is a whole tenner to spend
    • Driven in a manner to mimic "Driving Ms Daisy" - gotta streeeeeeeetch that petrol out for as long as poss
After all that, I am shattered. But in a good way.

    Roll on tomorrow.

Have a fantabulouse MSE DFW Thursday. May we all be blessed with rather large lottery wins.
