Q Park or Purple Parking

Hi,

Is there any difference to the two? We are staying at the Premier Inn, Bath Road, Heathrow the night before departure and have booked in at Purple Parking for when we are on holiday. I didnt realise that the Q Park is next door to the Premier Inn. Its an extra £10, is it worth swopping? Thanks

Purple Parking are a little way away and if you are travelling at rush hour, ensure you give yourselves PLENTY of time to get back to Heathrow. We gave ourselves what we thought was plenty, but missed our flight by around 2 mins (yes, they had just closed check in). Purple Parking is in a residential area so you get all the cars trying to get out of quite narrow streets, with mums and kids walking to school.
By staying at the Premier Inn on Bath Rd, I think you are very close to the airport. I would pay the extra.

Purple parking is further away as said above but cheaper. still a good service, reliable and the car is safe.

Q park is much nearer and again reliable and the car is safe but as you know a bit more expensive.

It's up to you really i would take in consideration what time your flight is and if its in the rush hour maybe swap if you think the extra is worth it.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks for the replies.

Our flight is 11.15 am - really just want as least hassle as possible but somewhere safe for our car.

I hoped you used the "ITT" code for purple parking and went through Quidco

PP is a way away and can get congested.

If you tried the code ITT a while back and it didn't work then try it again as I've successfully used it despite it not working a while back (see the thread link).

I've always found the virgin Atlantic way the cheapest way to book (I always use it when i book my parking and have used purple parking quite a few times with no problems) but haven't come across any q park codes.

    I don't see how

Both my March and May parking bills with the code ITT are at £10.00 and £ £14 cheaper and then there's the £4 and £6 I get back from Quidco.

I go through topcashback and i just did a quick search, it does work out cheaper for basic park and ride (41.47 using ITT and £51.13 with virgin) but if you want premium park and ride it works out cheaper to use the virgin Atlantic way. (virgin - £77.30 ITT - £83.26) or the meet and greet option (£94.95 using virgin and £107.06 using ITT)

(This was using my dates in March 14/3 till 31/3)

Depends on what kind of parking you want!

Hadn't figured that (being MSE I go for the cheapest!)

I'm at LHR on the 14th March and will be in the Virgin Upper Class lounge :D from about 12 noon

IIRC I can sign a guest in if you fancy some free champers ;)

    PM me if that suits
