How do i tell my gas meter is metric or imperial

If the meter has 'feet' or 'ft3' written on it is is imperial. If it has 'metres' or 'm3' then it is metric.
If it is an imperial meter, on your bill your kWhs should be about 32 times your units. If it is a metric meter, your kWhs will be about 11 times your units.0
