Trust - Any Recommendations?

My mother left some money(35k) to my brother (currently 18 years old) in her Will but stated it should be in a trust until he is 21.

I'm not an expert, but I assume the solicitor will ask me to nominate the account/trust for which his money will go into.

If so can anyone suggest a suitable account as all the ones I've found are until the holder is 18 years old.

Who are the trustees? It is the trustees who decide where the money should be held. Did your mother set up a trust or just say in the will that a trust should be set up? If the latter, then the executers of her will (who may/may not be solicitors) will have to set up the trust, decide who the trustees are and determine the exact terms of the trust.
It sounds like a solicitor is involved with the estate, either as an executer, or advising the executers, in which case he/she can assist with setting up the trust. Most trusts state that the trustees can invest the money however they like, and can change the investments as they deem fit.
There is no age restriction on most accounts if the account-holder is a trust.

I believe my brother are the trustees, but I could be wrong. The solicitors are acting as the executors, although my brother and I are named as executors too.

My mother just said it should be in a trust.
