Paper napkins carefully stashed mean I very rarely have to buy kitchen towel:blushing:, have a few McD's hand wipes in every bag/coat pocket I own, soap, shampoo, etc from hotels goes in the cupboord for overnighters at friends/ or hospital etc. Some hotels give you note pads, pens envelopes etc which I am always willing to give a home too.

Free samples of beauty products from the magazines - cleansers, moisturisers, shampoos, perfumes etc. Great for chucking in an overnight bag when space is at a premium. Right now my collection includes Chanel, Lancome, Elizabeth Arden, Aussie Hair shampoo etc.0

My DH is DREADFUL for leaving shower gel & shampoo in the cubicle when we go camping. I used to get really irritated by this so now I decant a little into tiny little plastic bottles that we got from a hotel. Then if he loses it, it isn't the end of the world. I have a stash of these & our friends think it's hilarious that he isn't allowed to take a whole bottle! (He's 56).
I also keep the sewing kits but one of the most useful things for me is the plastic shower caps. Not to wear in the shower but they make excellent covers for my bicycle saddle if I have to leave it outside when it's raining.0 -

I've only recently gotten into the habit of this. All those toiletries I've missed out on!
I take all the toiletries with me. Good facial soap and bath soap lasts me ages. I managed to make a small bottle of neutrogena last just over a week! Horrid soap will now get used to make my own laundry goop. Nasty shampoo / body wash as bubblebath.Good, clean fun....MFW #11 2015 £7657 / £88800 -

I used to think my mother was awful when she used to emerge from a public loo with nearly a whole roll of toilet paper stuffed in her handbag.
Now I have learned what large handbags were really made for
I tend to gather sachets of Tartare sauce and sweetners as only DH uses them and I can't see the point in buying them when there is sugar in the houseOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things
F U Fund currently at £2500 -
When we have meetings at work the caterers always give us far too much sugar since hardly anyone takes it. I always gather up the spares, which don't get used because... hardly anyone takes sugar  There are usually leftover sandwiches so I have a pack of sandwich bags in my desk - free lunch the next day
I always keep any spare sachets in takeaways, if you're going to pay all that money you should squeeze the maximum value out of McDonalds. It saves buying big bottles of ketchup that just go off. I took a tupperware full of sachets when we went self-catering, saved buying bottles of stuff in expensive holiday shops.
I have an absurd collection of sachets of creams, shampoos etc largely from freebie giveaways. I always take them on holiday because some stingy hotels don't give you anything and you can't depend on freebies when you get there. They're also useful to keep in the handbag, desk drawer, gym bag etc. Little freebie bottles are even better because they can be refilled with your favourite brand.
Cinemas often have racks of free promotional postcards. I put these in my Amazon Marketplace orders as thankyou notes for my buyers. They often have piles of promotional posters which sell on Ebay for about £1, if you're really keen to make a few bob.
Slightly off-topic but I collect up any leftover gift tags and bows and recycle them. People laugh at me but I'm not the sucker spending £££ in Paperchase every year!0 -
