A years Joint AA membership - effectively £15!

The AA are doing an offer at the mo for free joint membership (for the price of single membership). I went through Quidco and got the roadside recovery for £45 plus £20 cash back.
I got a flyer through the door stating 'free £10 high st voucher when you join the AA' so I rang them and asked if they would apply this to my account since I'd only just joined...the nice lady said she would :)
I had to quote code 0500.
I dont know if there was a place to type the code in online, but if not you can apply online for the quidco cashback and then ring them with the offer code like I did.
HTH someone - It'll mean you effectively get a years joint cover for 15 Quid

    Hi,
Does anyone know if to get joint membership you have to be a married couple ? Or can you be living together and/or the same sex ?

Sounds good. Does this beat any other current breakdown assistance deal? I had the Guild of Experienced Motorists (pay and claim back) one Martin recommended a couple of years ago but have now lapsed and am flying without a net, so's to speak.

Not absolutely sure about that...It's worth giving them a ring and asking though. I would think these days that you prob just have to live at same address?? I dont think they asked if we were married, can't remember now, but we have the same surname so they would have just assumed.

It's a good policy cos it covers you and not just the car, so even if I were with someone else and they broke down I could use my cover.

Or you could do the Tesco Clubcard deal £13.75 (single) or £19.75 (joint) I think  Roadside cover in vouchers for RAC

  • Sorry, missing the plot here. have just been on line and can only see an offer of 15%off for option 300 joint. Was the free joint membership for another option? Also nowhere to put code ? Any help appreciated as we are looking for cover which has to start tomorrow. Thanxs

The free joint was option 100 but it seems to have ended, after you had signed up and got your number emailed you had to call the AA and quote the code

The current recomendation here is still AutoAid. Now £32 (for a couple) but offers a saving of over £100 over the full AA price for the same service (recovery etc.). It IS 'Pay and Claim' though.
    Can I help?
