If you check the mega index, it's a sticky at the top of this page, and look in the section on cleaning, there is a section devoted to white vinegar.

Also in the zillions thread which is listed in the blue bar at the top of the forum as Old Style collections, there is another section on vinegar.

I use 50/50 water and vinegar (with a drop of essential oil) to clean my bathroom and kitchen, i used an old cif bottle!!! a sprinkle of bicarb and some vinegar on top (will fizz up) to clean my greasy oven, and today i used some neat vinegar on a cloth to clean my windows!!!! Everything comes up a treat!!!!! HTH
  • What are the best essential oils to use?
Do you choose one that smells nice or one that has particular cleaning/disinfectant properties?

Tea tree oil has disinfectant properties, but you can use any one that you like the smell of really.

They are gradually being streamlined and are easier to use than they used to be. Honest guv :)

BTW, the main Indexed Collections can also be found, In Red, in the relevant section of the MEGA Index too. Eventually it really will be a "One Stop Shop" for all you need to find in Old Style.

I can never find anything in the indexes either its far easier to ask and wait for someone who understands them to come along.
