renewing student finance...

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew when I need to apply for finance for next academic year 09/10, and how I go about it as I understand the system has changed. I am a first year student and had a lot of help from college last year for sorting finance ie deadlines for submitting, is it a simple renewal if circumstances are the same etc

If I remember rightly, you fill in a slightly form and they are a little easier than the original, plus you don't need to provide all the information again, just the things that may have changed.

They will send you one though the post but if not, you can download them from the student finance website. They don't put the new ones up until the time they start sending them out though, I don't think.

why dont you apply online....!

my daughter is in her first year and will be looking at applying for finance for her second year soon......

the earlier the better, especially if you will be getting support for you application from parents etc
