Buying from Aussie website using credit card

My friend lives in Australia and I wanted to send her kids some pressies for Christmas, so instead of paying postage from here I thought it would be better to buy some things from an Aussie website and have them delivered to her house.

If I use my credit card I assume I will be charged 2.5%? If so, I could use my Nationwide Flex debit card and not get charged but I would rather use my credit card if I won't be charged extra. Does anyone know whether I would be charged? I assume the transaction is similar to any you might do when abroad in a foreign currency therefore incurring a charge.

Also, would there normally be a problem with sending items to an address different to the billing address on the credit card?
I'm married now! Yippee!
