I took advantage of pizza huts 50% off discount last night, however was provided with an out of date dip. Does anyone know what the law is regarding a company providing their customers with out of date food???

If you had the dip with a date on it you could contact environmental health, as they give out the certificates of food and hygiene don't they?

or complain there and then. No company wants bad publicity over something they have sold a customer.

No I did not eat. And what is the difference between bb and use by. I complained through their website and they sent me a £5 voucher for use at one of their restaurants. I think this is completely unsatisfactory

I'd be satasfied with that , was it Best before or use by?

You never ate it so no harm done and you got a Fiver for a dip you never ate or got hurt with.

So you've just been given £5 compensation for a .33 dip. Sounds pretty damn good to me!

What exactly were you expecting? You were given an out of date dip, that likely wouldn't have caused significant harm even if it was unsafe at all, but in any event no one did eat it and no harm was done. You're making a real fuss out of something relatively minor, and to be honest a £5 voucher out of something that didn't actually affect you negatively seems like a decent result to me.

oh for gods sakes!!!! take the dip back and get an indate one OR chuck it.

too much claiming over nonsense!!!! like you've never eaten something out of date before! ketchup sachets dont even have the dates on but u take and use them anyway.
