London Marathon for MACS
Hello,
I'm running the London Marathon this year to raise money for MACS and aiming to raise £1000.
MACS is a small charity which was formed by a group of parents, all of whom had children with microphthalmia (small formed eyes), anophthalmia (no eyes) and coloboma (sight problems). They support research projects into the causes of these conditions but their main focus is on providing family support and a range of related services
I already completed a very muddy 80km 'Ultra Marathon' during my preparations in January and in London I'm also attempting to set a new Guinness World Record for 'Fastest Marathon in Film Character Costume' and publicly humiliating myself by choosing Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) as my film character!
