But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free;)
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Today i will:
- check online banking -
- update spreadsheets
- move some money to savings
- make a loaf in breadmaker
- storecupboard lunch and tea
- laundry hokey cokey for OH
- ironing for me
- reduce, reuse,recycle one thing
- swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership
- aim for no spend day
- Clean one room so no work to do at weekend
- sparkle a lot
- halloween feet stripey socks today
, back to the grindstone today after lovely day out yesterday:rolleyes: . Still dealing with the bl**dy decorators here, wish they'd hurry up and bog off, so sick of the place being in turmoil and stinking of paint.Off to b & q today for some stuff for oldies - will take a couple with me as it's 10% off day for oldies on Weds they may as well save themselves some money from funds:p
Have been thinking about what to give up for lent and have decided to give up caffeine - I drink too much tea and coffee -
Hugs to anyone in need x x x
Welcome to any new posters:D and hi to all the regulars:hello: :hello: :hello:
See you later peeps:D

Hi everyone!
Sorry for not posting yesterday or not checking in again on Monday but I have a very good excuse....I had my appendix removed late on monday evening!
Started getting very bad stomach pains around lunchtime, kept getting worse and after ringing NHS direct, I made emergency appointment at GP at 5.30pm. He advised me to go straight to A&E and luckily OH had just finished work so he took me.
They diagnosed appendicitis and operated at 11.30pm. I was discharged at 6.30pm yesterday. Currently feeling very tired, emotional, very sore and quite helpless! OH off work to look after me today, bless him.
So no list for me today..I hope I can be excused! Although...I guess it will be a NSD, won't use any petrol and will hopefully catch up on diaries!
Love to all
