They are basically great kids, and neither are particularly smart, but with a bit of work/revision they could be a lot better. DS is approaching his SATS, and just wont do anything to improve his potential marks. DD is year 8, and still doesnt know her times tables, so her maths is suffering. Just a few minutes work each night could make a huge difference, but neither will do it.
Anyhoo, I just banned telly, Xbox, Wii etc until they both start to work at these things regularly. I have a sore throat now because they wound me up so much. Me is a bad mother
