Lenny get rid of the dam car ;) How much is it really costing you to keep it per year?? You've just spent £450 what sort of MPG does it do and servicing? I expect you will spend £1k on it per year minimum. The chap at the garage who you have become friendly with, could you ask him to look out for a reliable car for you? I will shut up now, no point lecturing to you, you do what you know is best
Hey I like a firm tongue ;) lecture away, i get about 40 around town and if driven softly on the motorway say 70 i get above 50.

If you have a slow cooker, can I ask a stupid question please? If I put it on for say 5 hours when I leave for work, what happens after the 5 hours? Does it just go cold or does it stay at a constant temperature?

Slo cookers have a "high" heat and a "low" maintenance heat. So hi is high, lo is low, and "auto" is high for so long, then goes to low.

    It never goes cold though.

If you are determined to go for 5k tomorrow I would leave a run tonight. Let the muscles repair and be prepared for tomorrow
