Reclaming PPI

Options
About 2 years ago we purchased some windows from Anglian Windows. We were given a cash price of £4050, however we were also given a price of £3550 if we took out a loan which had to also included PPI. We took the loan which was arranged with Lloyds TSB. Does anyone think we were misold the PPI and if so how do we go about recovering it.

Regards

    Hi there

If they said you had to have the PPI with the loan and so, then yes this is one of the reasons of being mis sold.

Check this link out here below for any other reasons as well, there is a template reclaim letter for this, but try to use your own words if you can and add your own reasons, if any of the reasons occur to you as well in the link, also add them.

They have 8 weeks to respond in full.

If not successful first time, you should be given the opportunity to write again with further information in order for them to reconsider your complaint.

In the final response you should receive details of the financial ombudsman service (FOS) if your still not satisfied with their response, a leaflet should also be enclosed.

Post by recorded delivery, and let us know how you get on in case you require any further help.

    Good luck.;)
