Trading on your mobile (H-L on G1 anyone have any feedback?)

Looking to trade on the go.
Does anyone know how well Hargreaves & Lansdowns site works on the T-Mobile G1? I've heard this is the phone with the best browser. I would buy a mobile broadband package with a bundled netbook but I need to be able to do this from a mobile.

Any one trade on their phone and have any advice?

Thanks

No, but it is a cr*p share trading site on the 'olde fashioned' Internet, so I doubt whether it is any better on a fone.

There are far better online brokers.

Thanks purch, who would you recommend as an alternative?
I have an S&S ISA with H&L that's why I'm using them, if you have a better site who I can move my ISA to I'd like to hear who thanks. I mainly want to trade a wide variety of ETFs & ETCs. H&L have quite a long list they allow you to trade online but quite a few you cannot do online.

Well I use E Trade, and sometimes TD Waterhouse. Selftrade is also well recommended.

I'm not up with the latest phones... If they have a full web browser can't you use any of them like you would on a PC? I've been using Barx (Barclays trading application) recently - TBH I think you need a couple of big monitors to get the best out of it - I think it would be useless on a phone. It runs on Java. I also use TD Waterhouse which is less demanding.

I doubt Barx would work on any phone but I ran Barclays normal dealing site on my old Treo 650 with no problems, and Selftrade worked fine on that and on my new Treo Pro.

Selftrade now even have a mobile site for those who don't have full-featured phones, it probably even works if you've only got WAP.

Nope, I'm still trying to get my head around "texting"
